Pricing

Contracted vendors: $150 per participant.

Non-contracted organizations: $200 per participant.

Online registration calculates standard individual pricing only. Contact Katie before registering for volume pricing.

Class size

At least six total participants are required. Participants may be from different vendors.

If the minimum is not reached, registrations move to the next available class. Vendors will be notified by 9:00 AM the day before a cancellation.

Enrollment is capped at 20.

Schedule and registration

Classes are held on the second Thursday of each month from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The written test follows class.

Registration closes at 12:00 PM (noon) the day before class or when the class is full.

Payment

Payment is due with registration. A seat is not confirmed until payment is received.

The registration page calculates the amount due. After confirming the registration, you will be redirected to the secure payment site to enter that amount and submit payment.

Attendees may not participate if payment has not been received.

Attendance and late arrival

Participants must attend the entire class. Attendance is taken at the start of class and after group breaks.

Anyone arriving more than 30 minutes late will not be admitted. Anyone leaving before the exam will not receive a completion certificate.

Volume pricing and substitutions

Volume pricing requires advance approval. All included staff must be registered and paid at least one week before class.

Late additions are charged the standard individual rate.

Employee substitutions are allowed at no charge until 12:00 PM (noon) the day before class.

Eligibility and completion

Vendors are responsible for confirming that staff meet applicable prerequisites.

Passing the course does not by itself authorize a staff member to administer medications. Shadowing, medication observation, competency evaluation, and final medication certification are separate steps.

Weather and emergencies

If Manchester Community College closes, the class will not be held.

Classes cancelled because of weather, illness, emergencies, or circumstances outside the Nurse Trainer’s control will be rescheduled when possible.

Refunds and no-shows

Payments are non-refundable. No-shows and unused registrations cannot be credited to another class.

If an attendee cannot participate, a substitute may be named before the substitution deadline. Email medclass@nurse-trainer.com.
